Widows get help from NORAD

A livelihood project is being conducted with the help from NORAD by TECH for the widows in Mullaitivu district. 120 Families received livelihood itemsand now the livelihood activities are being conducting very well.

In the first stage of this Project, a number of 30 families were given agro machines on 26 th .Dec .06. NORAD project’s field Officer Mr. M.Jogarasa presided this function. NORAD project’s Coordinator Mr.Kalaisankar, the in- charge of small industry Mr.Rajendran, the Farmers organization president Mr.Shehar, Kilinochchi district’s Coordinator Mr. P.Piratheepan and Mr. Visu are participated and gave away the equipments for the beneficiaries.

Further NORAD project’s Coordinator and NORAD project’s Field officer are explained to the beneficiaries about the project.

In the Second stage of this project, selected beneficiaries were given advance fund for their agriculture on 5 th.Jan.07.at 3.00p.m in TECH Most of the beneficiaries wanted to do agriculture in their land.

The Executive director of TECH, the director of TECH, In charge of small industry , Mr.Visu, Mr.Sudar, Accountant of TECH Mr.S.Nesanathan, Administrative Officer of NEEDEP Miss. E.Nanthiny, Kilinochchi district’s coordinator Mr.P.Pritheepan, NORAD project coordinator Mr.S.Kalaisankar, NORAD project’s field Officer Mr.M.Jogarasa and Mr.Karthikeyan from project unit are participated and gave away the loan money to the beneficiaries in this function.
