Training on saving skill and loan for livelihood development

Above event was held at Punnaineeravi village in Kandahwalai A G As division on 15th of November, 2008 under the chair of Mr. K. Thevapalan. A representative of NECCDEP, Mr. K. Mahinthan, social mobilizers of Umaiyalpuram and Kovilvayal Ms. Nanthini and Mr Kirupakaran respectively, the presidents, secretaries, treasurers, and some members of RDS and WRDS and the public were present at that event.

On the topic of saving skill, Mr. K. Mahinthan gave a speech to the gathering. Even though that it is being small scale investment in venturing, there must be a reasonable allocation for future backdrops if there will be any. Otherwise it might bring them unpleasant situation in their ventures. They must also have savings in small amounts during their expenditures as well as income. Maintaining separate accounts themselves on the savings and provisions apart from bank deposits would certainly benefit them for their future, he said.

Following him Ms Nanthini stated that the beneficiaries also could help the society to increase the number of beneficiaries through their genuine activity of earning and saving. Hence the society of these beneficiaries will become an example to others in the community.
