Bicycles are donated to Widows in Trincomale

Public transport is scarce, and private transport is expensive for those living on a low income in Karadipooval, Trincomale district. Local markets, shops and other establishments are scattered around the village. Widows, who fend for their household and who also, do the weekly/daily shopping, struggle carrying and travelling around the village with heavy loads. Bicycles would be the cheapest mode of transport, and will help with the daily chores and travelling.
