Donation of School Materials

Mullaitivu is a district, which was severely affected, by the civil war and tsunami. There were many schools that were damaged, and due to this, there are heavy shortages in the supply of school materials for children. These children already suffer from poverty, and to not be able to acquire a good education decreases their chances of improving their livelihood. Tamil Diasporas living in Neuss , Germany kindly donated and organised for school materials to be distributed in this area.

On 30/12/2005, TECH in Mullaitivu contributed to the organisation of this event, where Mr. & Mrs. Suriya from Germany, Mr. Williams from Canada, Principal of Mullaitivu Technical College, TECH Executive Director Mr Sugunan presented and distributed the school materials to the children.
